Youth Alpha is a fun and thought-provoking 8-part video series designed to spark open conversation about life’s big questions — like “Is there more to life than this?” and “What’s my purpose?” Each week features a short, high-quality episode that includes real stories and relatable topics, followed by relaxed group discussions where students can share their thoughts and ask questions freely — no pressure, no preaching, just real talk.
At Youth Unlimited YFC Waterdown, we run Youth Alpha once per school year, watching one episode a week for 8 weeks straight, usually on Fridays during the lunch period at our youth centre. To make it even better, we feature a different snack experience each week — like an ice cream bar, cereal bar, s’mores, or build-your-own sandwiches. It’s a fun way to spend lunch, connect with others, and explore meaningful conversations in a safe and welcoming space.
